The upcoming election is more important
than ever. With confusion for so many
ex-offenders across the U.S regarding
right to vote and the staggering number
of over half million ex-offenders
returning home every year, we cannot
afford a single lost vote due to
misunderstanding. Arrested Development
is staging the nation's largest 1st
voter drive for ex-offenders. Many states such as
Illinois allows voting for all
ex-offenders once released
from prison even if on parole or
probation. Check your eligibility
and make sure your voice is counted.

Training
and offering assistance to social
agencies as well as informing the public
about expungement options, Arrested
Development Foundation furthers its
exempt purposes by potentially
increasing the number of employed
taxpaying citizens, decreasing the
recidivism rate by assisting
ex-offenders with gainful employment
opportunities, and promoting community
involvement with "give back" initiatives
through faith-based groups for
ex-offenders |

Arrested Development Foundation will
work with all agencies and faith-based
initiatives that are focused on
improving the employment aspects for
individuals with criminal records. The
Organization will not limit the amount
of training or technical assistance an
agency can receive. The only limitation
will be to the extent that funding is
available. In the absence of funding,
it will be impossible to keep services
and program assistance in motion. The
prerequisite to utilizing services will
be that the agency must have direct
contact with individuals that have a
criminal record who are living in low to
moderate income neighborhoods. Agencies
will not be “selected”, but rather, they
will qualify for training and assistance
based on their relationship with
individuals struggling to find gainful
employment because of a criminal
conviction. |
